Former Presidential candidate Michele Bachmann has given up her hopeless crusade to win the White House, but she doubled down in the run up to the Iowa caucuses by making sure conservative Hawkeye voters know that she hates gays more than all of the other candidates.

At a stop in Council Bluffs, IA she told supporters that she’s “100% on the side of life,” which is Tea Party dog whistle talk for “I love zygotes so much and have never ovulated.” But she really dug in on the issue of gay rights.

Credit Talk USA Live – President Obama starts a new special task force to investigate and prosecute those responsible for bad mortgages

A new special task force to investigate and prosecute those responsible for bad mortgages during the housing boom will be part of President Obama’s 2012 agenda.
Obama announced Tuesday that he’s asked the Justice Department to create a special unit of prosecutors and state attorneys general to investigateg abusive lending and packaging of risky mortgages that led to the housing crisis. And he’s tapped an avowed Wall Street enemy, New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman, to help run the crime unit, according to a White House official. This new unit will hold accountable those who broke the law, speed assistance to homeowners, and help turn the page on an era of recklessness that hurt so many Americans,” Obama said in his State of the Union speech.

Credit Talk USA Live – Entertainment News Madonna @ Super Bowl XLVI 2-5-2012

Madonna isn’t saying much about her upcoming Super Bowl performance – other than what she told ABC News a little while back: “I have eight minutes to set up my stage, 12 minutes to put on the greatest show on Earth, and I have seven minutes to take it down so that the football field is clean for the second half of the game.”
Lest we forget, it only takes “4 Minutes” to save the world – so no doubt The Queen of Pop will provide something that can distract you from refilling the Doritos. Besides, she’ll have plenty of backup: As per MTV News, the Feb. 5 spectacle is being “imagined” by Cirque du Soleil and Madge’s creative director Jamie King. And then there are all those rumoured guest stars, including a couple of late-breaking additions – provided you believe whatever will.i.am tells you.
In an interview with radio station Capital FM, the Black Eyed Pea said LMFAO will be shuffling to Indianapolis for Super Bowl Sunday. “I’m going to the Super Bowl this year to see my group LMFAO perform with Madonna,” will said in the interview.
